Yes! We deal with all the major lodge, caravan and residential home manufacturers, and with over 21 years experience we can help you choose a home and, if required, a park, that will be perfect for you.

We also have an excellent relationship with several parks throughout the country where you can be guaranteed a lovely location and excellent service.

How does it work?

Many of our clients were confused by the wide variety of homes, parks and prices available and obviously, manufacturer’s and parks are keen to push their own product. At Leisurehomes Uk, we are genuinely independent so can provide free, objective advice on what will be best for you.

Manufacturers and parks pay us a small commission for the introduction so it genuinely costs you nothing. We insist that everyone pays the same commission so that there is no favouritism, at your expense.

Why do people buy from us?

We have been involved in the leisure home industry since 1989 and have developed a great deal of expertise in this time. We all originally worked at senior levels for the large holiday park groups and our business developed after we left. Previous clients of ours continued to call us for help and guidance and even recommended their friends and family to us. Some 21 years later we still provide the same service, based entirely on reputation and trust within the industry.

Do we have to buy on one of the parks you represent?

No, the parks we represent have been selected as they are family owned and managed, and have a good reputation. We know the parks very well and are really happy to recommend them. (On some parks we have recommended over 100 owners!!).

If you prefer to locate your home on another park, that is fine. We would usually speak to them on your behalf to check information such as pitch sizes and views to ensure your home would suit the location. We can then sort out transport and siting directly with them, while keeping you informed of progress.

Can we buy a home for our own land?

Yes… many of our clients site leisure homes on their own land. They are often used as alternative accommodation, temporary accommodation for new builds, granny annexes, extensions to living accommodation, extra office space, playrooms, games rooms or swimming pool rooms. The list is endless. We can quote a price including delivery and siting of the home. You will need to lay a satisfactory base and organise utilities. We can if required, advise you with regard to planning issues. (Ask for our planning leaflet)

Do Leisure homes lose money?

It is a well known fact that caravans can depreciate severely in the early years of ownership. Exactly how much depends on the park and location.

Lodges and Mobile (or Park) homes are built to a residential standard (BS3632) and to a far higher quality than caravans. Although there is no guarantee of increased value, these types of homes have proved to retain their value exceptionally well.

Can we pass the lodge on to family?

Yes, the home is your property and you can give it to direct family whenever you wish. When you purchase, you are given a licence for the base on which the lodge sits and this guarantees your location for a period of time, depending on the park. If you wish to transfer this, you simply let the park know. (As you would expect, we would reserve the right to approve your beneficiaries to ensure that they will not upset your neighbours).

Purchasing a Lodge F.A.Q.

Do we have to pay the whole price immediately?

No, depending upon the home you are buying we take a small holding deposit as follows:

Show Home: £5000.00 – Balance to 10% of total price within 14 days
Securing a pitch £5000.00 Balance to 50% on order of new Lodge

The balance of the purchase price is paid when you move in, at a date we agree between us. Many of our customers have investments to realise, or properties to sell so identifying a move in date can be difficult. We are happy to work with you as long as we are kept informed of progress.

Are there any catches?

No, absolutely not. As you are no doubt aware, we are very well established and have been here for a very long time! We do not know if the lifestyle will suit you but we are happy to have an informal discussion and explain everything in detail.
